This Chapter shall apply to family reunification of refugees recognised by the Member States. Skip to main content. Member States may restrict access to employment or self-employed activity by first-degree relatives in the direct ascending line or adult unmarried children to whom Article 4 2 applies.

This Chapter is without prejudice to any rules granting refugee status to family members. The Member States shall authorise the entry and residence, pursuant to this Directive and subject to compliance with frathini conditions laid down in Chapter IV, as well as in Article 16, of the following family members: Help Dirrttiva this page.
