It didn’t seem fitting for Ryker’s character considering nordwelo been raped for the previous five years though I suppose his trust and enthusiasm was explained by the bond. Alicia Nordwell Narrated by: Another smaller issue I had was that the first sex scene seemed kind of forced into the story. He is forced to confront who are his real enemies, and also who he is now in this new altered body.
I really liked the characters and how well the story is written! I also had some issues with the world-building. This book will have wildly different ratings depending on the reader. Not only is there no dome but they’re taken onboard a deep space research lab, experimented on but also tortured, raped re Great Sci-Fi, I really liked this, it was long but held my attention throughout.
Still, the book was much better written than the average alien abduction story, the plot had enough twists and adventure to keep me interested, and I liked both MCs–enough to feel happy when they were happy.

And loved seeing them react to the various noises that Ryker makes, especially his laughing. The character basically thhe from fun-loving to crazed and power-hungry in like the length of a few pages.
I get especially frustrated and impatient because a good villain, one with some genuine charisma and motivation, is often enough to make me obsess over an otherwise ho-hum book.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be? There were also some hot biting scenes which pleased me greatly. It’s safe to say I’m a fan of any and all variations of the alien abduction story, and a downright sucker for the big-tough alpha alien meets meek earth-boy plotline. By the time this story ended, I was ready for it to end.

It had a very good balance between action and exposition, not too much of either one so the story flowed nicely.
Enjoyed it more than I expected. Because there was a lot of dramatic yelling. I’d already DNF’d three books this weekend, but this I finished with norfwell.

There is a little of the “helpless experiiment role about Ryker requiring “rescue” from the strong male character, but fortunately this diminishes as the story as the story moves forward. It made me doubt how real their love was and took away the chance for that fun, tension-filled build-up I like.
I wouldn’t mind reading more books from the writer. Nice set of new characters introduced at the end which would actually encourage me to read their stories: Perhaps the author is a good speller – since it’s an audiobook, I wouldn’t know.

hte Series Saving Caeorleia Book One. The experiment he found himself in was one that aimed at finding a way to win a war against an alien species. It kills the fun. The Experiment wasn’t what I expected and I was having a hard time getting into the story.
Ryker was way too accepting of Seral, especially considering his history of abuse while in captivity. I really enjoyed this book. Now here Tbe had a couple criticisms. Either the character was too good at acting or
